Some of us from h+ will be driving up to Tempe, AZ to attend Brad Allenby's lecture "From Human to Transhuman: Technology and the Reconstruction of the World." This is part of Arizona State University's exploration of transhumanism over the past couple years called the Templeton Research Lectures.

The lecture starts at 7:30 PM, so we will need to leave Tucson around 5:00 PM (or earlier to avoid rush hour.) Please let the group know if you are going and if you need a ride so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

Event: Transhumanist Party - John Schloendorn and Todd Huffman have invited us to a party in Tempe, to celebrate various events and milestones. John says:

The event will feature many local transhumanists who, like tea, come in different strengths and flavors. This includes leadership from Alcor Life-Extension Foundation, with whom those of you with an urge to make it outta here alive might want to make friends.
